The Map of Consciousness: Where Are You Vibrating?

Developed by David R. Hawkins, the Map of Consciousness was created as a way to explore human awareness, emotion, and energetic states. Hawkins proposed that every emotional state carries a measurable frequency or level of consciousness. According to his work, emotions such as shame, guilt, fear, and anger exist in lower vibrational states, while courage, love, joy, peace, and enlightenment exist at higher levels of awareness.
One of the most powerful ideas within the chart is that Love is one of the highest frequencies a human can consistently embody. Love is not simply romance or affection — it is compassion, understanding, harmony, patience, grace, and connection to all things. Love creates. Love heals. Love transforms. And ultimately, love always wins.
The beautiful thing about this chart is that it reminds us we are not trapped in any emotional state. We all experience moments in the lower frequencies — anger, grief, fear, frustration, pride, or anxiety. That is a part of the human experience. The goal is not perfection; the goal is awareness and elevation.
Personally, gratitude has become one of the easiest ways for me to raise my frequency. No matter what is happening, there is always something to be grateful for. Gratitude acts like a cheat code. The moment you begin appreciating life, your energy shifts. Your perspective changes. Your spirit becomes lighter.
But Love is the vibration I strive to remain in the most. Love covers a multitude of things. It dissolves division. It restores peace. It creates abundance internally and externally. When operating from love, your decisions become clearer, your intuition becomes stronger, and your presence becomes healing to others.
This chart is not meant to judge people — it is meant to help us become conscious of where we are and where we desire to be.
So the real question is:
Where are you on the chart today?
